Thank you for visiting our website. Many people ask the question, "What is freemasonry?"

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organizations. Freemasonry has always been about making good men better. Men aim to shape their lives round five core principles.

1. Integrity: We say what we mean, and we keep our promises.

2. Kindness: Although our families come first, we believe in playing a key role in our communities and give time and money to charitable ventures.

3. Honesty: We pride ourselves on openness, about what being a Freemason means for us.

4. Fairness: We treat everyone as equal - we listen to others, explore any differences and look for common ground.

5. Tolerance: We respect the opinions of others and behave with understanding towards them.

The influence of Masonry is like the many other influences which we receive: in the home, at church or other associations. While there have been many a valiant effort, there has never been a perfect child. Despite the best struggles of a church there has never been a perfect Christian. Notwithstanding the finest works of Freemasonry, there has never been a perfect Mason.

Yet, there is an important place for all these in our society. Man’s basic nature is to obtain every good encouragement he may receive. He needs the powerful influence of a good home. He requires spiritual inspiration of a dedicated church made up of devoted believers. He also necessitates those positive prompts which come from civic, professional organizations or fraternal organizations.

We are always looking for upstanding men who would like to join our Lodge and be a part of this historic fraternity. I will do all I can to facilitate "making good men better", the well-being of our Lodge and fulfill the trust you have placed in me. I am looking forward to working on your behalf this coming Masonic year.
